For those with large, wide nostrils
The skin beneath the nose is incised in a wedge shape and sutured, thereby gathering the nostrils. Since the incision line remains at the border between the nostrils and cheeks, scars are barely noticeable.
If the area below the nostrils is wide
If only the lower portions of the nostrils are wide, the lower sides of both nostrils are excised, and the nostrils are pulled together with thread, resulting in strategically narrowed nostrils and a higher nose tip.
If the cartilage of the nostrils is spread left and right
After trimming down the cartilage, both sides are sutured together, which raises the nasal septum connected below upwards, naturally sharpening the tip of the nose.
If the cartilage is large and blunt
If the cartilage is large and makes the nose look bulbous, the cartilage is trimmed and both sides are sutured to gather the nostrils. Inserting ear cartilage or nasal septal cartilage between the widened nostril cartilages can create an even more defined nose.
