- No waxing or depilatory creams 2–4 weeks before treatment (shaving is fine)
- Avoid sun exposure, sauna, and hot baths for 1 week after treatment
- No strong stimulation to the treated area for 48 hours
- Treatment is not available during pregnancy
- Tanning before treatment increases risk of adverse reactions; consultation required
